Vėjūnė Rimašiūtė
Tech Expert
I’m Vėjūnė, a Tech Expert Writer at Cybernews, with over 4 years of experience evaluating and reviewing different tech products. I’m mainly focused on password managers, though I write about various cybersecurity topics ranging from VPNs to eSIMs
When writing reviews, I like to verify every provider’s claims myself, so whenever possible, I thoroughly test each service. I use my personal accounts to evaluate how each password manager performs for a regular user, focusing on security, autofill performance, passkey support, password sharing, usability, and overall value. Because I read tech reviews before purchasing a service myself, I aim to write reviews I’d find useful, pointing out both strengths and weaknesses so users know what they’re opting for.
I hold a degree in Cultural Policy and Cultural Management from the Vilnius Academy of Arts. A few years ago, I also completed a Creative Writing course through the University of Oxford’s Continuing Education program. Combining my writing background with years of reviewing cybersecurity products helps me turn complex topics into reviews that are both clear and easy to understand.
